Indoor Training – CANCELLED

COVID-19 UPDATE: All club rides and events are cancelled until further notice.
LOCATION: Sport for Life Centre (145 Pacific Ave). The Fitness Centre is location on L4. When you get to L4 (via stairs or elevator), you will just have to ring the door bell to get into the Fitness Centre. Check in at the front desk there.
Maximum capacity of 15 participants per session
COST: $15 per session (any money collected above the per hour session fee will be returned to participants)
TIME: Sunday 12:00 pm OR Wednesday 6:00 pm
DATES: 8 sessions over 4 weeks – March 15, March 18, March 22, March 25, March 29, April 1, April 5, April 8
FORMAT: The training will be a combination of speedwork (sprints, intervals) + climbs (both seated and standing for various durations/rolling and progressive styles). Structured around RPM (reps per minute) and FTP (functional threshold power).
- NO bike or trainer required – SFLC has spin bikes with a monitor
- Indoor shoes required. Cycling shoes welcomed if you would like to clip in to bikes – SPD pedals
- Bring your own lock if you wish to use lockers for your belongings, and bring your own towel for on the bikes and/or to shower afterwards.
- A signed waiver will be required. Once you are registered it will be emailed to you. Please bring on your first day.
